Will it run?

Tommy has been building his Scratch Build Locost 7 for 3 1/2 years now, and it’s start up and reveal time!

Congratulations Tommy!

The process has been rewarding and sometimes a bit challenging.

Part of the challenge is related to the choice of plans (ie - a hybrid of Haynes Roadster and Vodou) and, as you can imagine, a scratch build is always fraught with engineering surprises.

Notwithstanding the “how do I do that” stuff, there were issues surrounding the (now questionable) choice of using “Skinny” Westfield fibreglass bits to fit the chassis.

All in a day’s work (spread over 3 1/2 years) for Tommy!
